The Canyons

The largest of Castle Pines’ planned developments, the Canyons boasts future development of parks, trails, open spaces, and schools, as well as community, retail, agricultural, commercial and civic resources.
The Canyons will feature a variety of modern, environmentally-friendly home models from several well-known Colorado developers, including Berkeley Homes, KB Home, Infinity Homes and Shea Homes, starting from the upper $400s to $1 million plus. Castle Pines Valley
Located on the west side of I-25 directly across from the Canyons lies Castle Pines Valley, formerly known as Lagae Ranch. Initially approved for development in 2008, construction for this community first began with roadwork in 2016, with homes popping up the next year.
This 249-acre development will eventually include 231 single-family homes, 400 multi-family homes, 76 acres of open space and parks (including Elk Ridge park), 400,000 square feet of commercial / civic land, and an elementary school.
Lennar Corporation, one of the most renowned homebuilders in the country with operations in 18 states, will be spearheading construction of residential communities in Castle Valley with their Grand, Monarch and Legends Collections. Homes will be priced from the upper $500s to $800s and will feature smart technology, modern floor plans and energy-efficient technology. More affordable homes from Meritage Homes will start at the lower $400s.

Castle Pines Town Center
Located just south of Castle Valley near the intersection of I-25 and Happy Canyon Road, Castle Pines Town Center is a 354-acre planned development owned by Ventana Capital that boasts ample area for parks, open spaces, trails, and civic / commercial space. Up to 475 single-family and 200 multi-family residences are in the works, with initial home construction beginning in 2019.
Taylor Morrison, one of the largest homebuilding companies in the US, and Century Communities will provide 300 of the 475 detached single-family homes. An upscale apartment complex and limited commercial space are also in the works, with 500,000 acres planned for non-residential or mixed use.
